Six...six!

My gorgeous, full-spirited, wonder of a girl is now SIX -- and has only two more months of kindergarten left.

We celebrated all week long with a visit to Chicago for three days followed by time off at home in St Louis with hiking and jumping at the core of our activities.  (More to come about Chicago in another post).

Claudia's special day included a stop at our favorite Original House of Pancakes, followed by a visit to the Library and then off to SkyZone for an hour of trampoline fun with our long-time friends the Hayden twins.

That night we had a bestie neighborhood friend over with her sister and dad for pizza, sushi and cake.

This girl is just magic. Her love for her brother and family - and DUNCAN the CAT - abounds. She is a great friend, loves to learn, play and we know she will do big things in life.

I am just so happy she is my daughter and I get to be her mom! xoxo

London, Paris...what's next on this list, Rome?

In January, I had the opportunity to visit both capital cities in one week!

Claudia was impressed I actually was there - Big Ben!

And then Paris...! The Eurostar sped me across one city to the other - and to the arms of my best friend Katy from college and her family. 

I needed some TLC - and I got it! 

What a gorgeous city....and I hope to come back with my family!
