Fourth of July 2014
This year we hosted cousin Laura all the way from Panama via Chicago!
On the actual day we enjoyed a traditional, small-town Fourth of July parade - and the under 85-degree day - followed by swim club shenanigans and a great mango, chicken salad that she prepared for us.
We hope she visits us again next year -- and we save up to visit her in her next amazing location.

Ready, Steady, DIVE!?
Rhys surprised Laura (who is visiting!) and me with this dive today -- first off the side of the pool - and later off the diving board.
It just about makes up for his "running away" incident this morning…maybe.
His equalibrium temper is in short supply these days.
