Cold or Hot

When Rhys was four he said his favorite place in STL was the library. This was for a get-to-know-you survey for preschool.

Today, he yelled and screamed that he didn't want to go to the Library (he loves playing with his neighborhood friends and hates to miss a beat) - but once there - you can tell he really hated it…right?

And he admitted when we left that it was kind of fun to go just the two of us.

Made the entire 10 minutes prior to leaving home worth it. (Pretty much…)

The Things You Do for the Ones You Love

Claudia is very realistic when she plays puppy - as I have found out. :)

She may look very sweet in her photos, but she is one strong-willed girl. I love that she knows her own mind, and takes charge of herself in many ways (self-care is big with her right now), but Lord knows we are having a bit of one-sided battle right now. I am the calm one…she is just angry - about so many things.

But goodness knows we love her so.
