For his hard work on his behaviors (e.g. not running in the halls and keeping hands to himself) Rhys was the KS representative at Black History Month's all-school assembly.

What was the best part of our three day visit to meet Ona and see Dax? Could it be the water park at our hotel? Or the three TVs in the 2 bedroom suite we shared with Zhou Zhou? Or is it the family ceramics class and running around One Billion Rising? Or else it's celebrating Christopher's 35th birthday? Maybe it's the amazing Flour Tower, making forts in the snow, climbing indoor play structures the likes of which are not seen in STL and checking out art shanties on a frozen lake…?

No, you would be wrong…but those were all amazing highlights.

This was the BEST part of our trip. Can't wait to see everyone again soon! We love you.

Another first - a hockey game

From Cardinals this summer to the Blues this winter - Rhys is experiencing all the highlights of STL sports - much to Dom's delight.

I have to say - if its not the Cubs in Wrigley Field, I'm just not that interested. Happy that Dom is!

You're Going to Hear Her ROAR!

So, ballet this fall was a bit of a bust.

C wanted to take it because her neighborhood friends were - so we bought the tap shoes, ballet shoes, tights and leotard…and she was very adorable in it…even though she hates tights and dresses, usually.

But after two months, she was done. It might have been the tights that pushed her to the edge. And I never did get that sweet photo of her

Now C wants to take gymnastics.

Here she is trying off her moves at preschool. And at least there are no tights (but there are those glittery  leotards…!)

Bridegroom

We aren't true regulars at "church school" but we do make an effort every once in awhile. Once there, the children have fun in their class in the special chapel service just for preschoolers and kindergartners.  And I prefer their chapel service myself, too!

This week we made it despite threats of ice and Rhys found out it was the Kindergartners day to provide the entertainment. Since he was the only boy to show that day for the K team, he was the groom to his friend V's bride.

He said his lines quite well and was rewarded with a donut afterwards. We will see what happens next time we show up!
